IT’S TIME FOR A NEW GENERATION OF INDIAN CUISINE.
Over the years, I have spent many summers travelling the breadth of India with my family, trying all sorts of incredible food in homes, cafés, beach shacks, even trains! From the crispy dosas and mind blowing chutneys just behind my Grandfather's house, to the indulgent Thali in a tiny bustling café in Jaipur with my husband and baby daughter (we had to eat very quickly!), to eating Indian dumplings with a cup of tea amidst the Darjeeling plantations...I've always wanted to bring the real India back home to the UK.
And so Mooli was born.
Mooli, meaning ‘daughters’ in Marathi (the native language of Bombay) is about moving Indian cuisine into a new era. Mooli is also an Asian white radish, representing our commitment to celebrate Indian vegetarian cuisine as the hero of our foodie stories.
